SAMMinistries benefit concert is set for Thursday, July 29^th at 7:00 pm at New Creation Christian Fellowship, 8700 Fourwinds Drive. Tickets are $20 each and are available at iTickets, GetTix and at Lifeway Christian Stores at The Rim shopping center. Also, music enthusiasts can purchase tickets at the SAMMinistries corporate offices located in the Furniture for a Cause retail store, 5254 Blanco Road. Tickets at the door will be $25.00. 

Dr. Richard Land, who has represented Christian concerns in the halls of Congress, before US Presidents and in the media for more than 20 years, will speak on behalf of Heroic Media this July in San Antonio. Land will address the impact of mass media on the abortion issue. Specifically, how mass media education helps women facing unwanted pregnancies learn about all of their options.

Heroic Media is a Texas-based non-profit which places television, Internet and billboard advertisements to help women learn about positive alternatives to abortion. Heroic Media believes that if a woman learns about all the alternatives available to her, she will usually choose life.

The abortion ratio in the Austin media market dropped 24 percent since Heroic Media entered the market in 2004. The abortion ratio is the number of abortions for every 1,000 births.
