John Watson

John Watson was installed as the sixth pastor of St. Mark Presbyterian Church by the Mission Presbytery on April 21, 2002. He graduated from Biola College and Talbot Seminary and was ordained on August 31, 1975 in the Los Ranchos Presbytery in Orange County. John served in four Presbyterian churches in California before coming to the Lone Star State.

He and his wife, Barbara, have three children and four grandchildren. John has served as director of Christian education, adult education pastor, missions pastor, and senior pastor before coming to St. Mark in Boerne, Texas. His ministry at St. Mark mainly involves preaching, leading, and caring. John loves reading and writing, engaging in intellectual discourse over coffee, working with his hands, and most of all, being with his family.
