"Hannity" Appearance Will Hightlight Next Week

(Nashville, Tennessee) —January 14, 2010 – Rebecca St. James is adding her voice and national  media presence to those speaking out in favor of January’s recognition as "Sanctity of Life Month.”
 
St. James will be seen tomorrow (15th) on CBN’s flagship “700 Club,” speaking about the heartening acceptance accorded the release of her first starring role on film in “Sarah’s Choice,” –a movie with a strong pro life message.
 

The Beacon:  Delirious? is in the middle of your History Makers Farewell Tour, performing final concerts all across Europe and bringing a 17‑year career to an end. Back in 1995, you were involved in a serious automobile accident, and you once were quoted as saying that “I believe God was saying we should go for it as a band.” So, 15 years later, did you hear him right?

Martin Smith:  [laughs] Yes, I think so. I believe so, yes. What an amazing journey it’s been, and to have

The Beacon: You mentioned that the American Idol experience taught you “that you didn’t have it together”. Help me understand that.

Phil Stacey: Honestly, I’m just not afraid to be transparent about my faith. I became very weak on “American Idol.” When I  was on the show. Because what happened, here I was, we talk about how we can credit ourselves with certain things. If anybody has made the sacrifices necessary to have it together, it’s me. I was saved when I was seven years old. I was on the road doing ministry when I was 13. I was involved, ended up becoming the leader of our choir in college, the lead singer. Four years and I came off and I became a music minister. Ended up being involved in the Navy, I was in ministry. I ended up being a part time music minister at First Coast Christian Center in Jacksonville, Florida. You know, I had it together.
